According to a recent article published in the Economist, China is expected to surpass the USA’s economy in 2016. Yes, that’s only 4 years ahead of us. As you’ll see below, we have some incredible examples of how China’s economy is performing at the moment. Most of the pictures are from three major cities: Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
The last one, Guangzhou is probably the most populous city in the world that you never heard of (41 million people living in the metropolitan area or 11 million in the core area). And yet this collection includes only buildings that are already built. There are some extraordinary examples of projects that will be build in the near future as well, but we will talk about that another time.
