This article is about the modern architecture of South-East Asia, focusing on the cities of Hong Kong and Singapore. In recent years, we have seen how the Asian Tigers and China have flourished economically. This prosperity is best symbolized by the skyscrapers that were build during the last 20 years. Even if we don’t like it, we have to admit that architecturally (modern) they are now surpassing the United States and Western Europe.
As regards to the Malay Peninsula, you will see some splendid images of Singapore’s tall and shinny buildings. What is more striking is that the Malaysians are not done yet, as they are continuing to add new modern and dazzling constructions each year (Marina Bay Sands built last year is an excellent example). Nevertheless, I think I should end my presentations here. Therefore, enjoy, be inspired and please share with your friends or community! Thank you!
