It’s been two weeks since we published the first part of 1950s – 20 Fabulous Ads From The Golden Era and I’m sure that you will be glad to see that we decided to continue the series. The Golden Era of Advertisement spanned from 1950s to 1970s, a period that can be described as the forerunner of the modern publicity. In other words, we owe so much to that period, because it was back then when creativity flourished and when bold ideas were tried. That society was still rational and looked for functionality in products, rather than fun & pleasure (well, at least in the 1950s and 1960s).
Nevertheless, in this article you’ll see ads from famous brands such as Lucky Strike (you remember Mad Men, don’t you?), 7 Up, Coca-Cola, Kodak, Schlitz, Oldsmobile, Caterpillar and many more. A big surprise here is an ad from the US Army who was trying back then to convince people to enrol in order to fight in Korea. Now, enjoy, be inspired and if you will like this article, then please share it with your friends or community! Many thanks! Cheers!
P.S. You would probably like to see 20 Fabulous Ads From The Golden Era (Part 1) and (15+51) Fabulous Ads from The 1960s (Series Finale).
